Limited notes. Brown-red colour ("fence-red"?), slightly difficult to drink coming straight after the Australian Malmsy, better later on. Nothing particularly distinctive to this other than pleasant drinking and that it evidnced a certain degree of pedigree. I was not wowed (though had this third in WOTN), others much more enthusiastic in tasting despite only DRT and WS1 ranking it. 3rd of 8 with 6 points.

A simple, straightforward and very effective tasting note. Much more descriptive than "melons and chocolate".

Learned on the night that this was not imported into the UK. Bottled in 2007 This ~20year colheita is now at ist peak. Very round and smooth with still good fruit this is a good port. But it lacks comlexity and this makes it difficult for me to beleive in further improvements of the wine with continued cellaring.
