I had just one experience with Sibio yet and that was during the 70s tasting, where it did not show too well, so I was rather sceptical when Dirk had that bottle open when we arrived for lunch in Matosinhos. In fact it was a pota bottle and all pota bottles I ever had port from where Niepoort made and all were excellent (Vintages 27, 45, 55 and 70).

This one showed a light orange color with brown reflections. Primary nutty notes in the nose, so I would have guessed it to be a Colheita from the 60s, if I did not see the bottle in advance. Full nutty palate with almonds, nice acidity, pepper and orange peels. Coffee in the long aftertaste. Very nice. 18
