First sniff and decided this would be better quaffing the next day.

The spirits have resolved a little and t his smells much better on the nose.
Wet tobacco, dark licorice with a light cedar spirit backed with some red cherry fruit on the nose.
The medium body is still very spicy, showing off more of the dark licorice, with some black fruit hiding behind the spice.
It finishes with a coffee like finish.
i recalled this wine being fuller. Perhaps an off bottle me battling a slight cold earlier int he week.
Confirmed cold and heavy allergies in the g household.
