Horrible smell - blackberries smelling more like rotting cabbages. Taste similar. Others liked(?) and felt was potential future stunner; my worst of the night for current drinking (to the extent I gave my glass away). Bad.

90% opaque; deep red in colour, solid rim. Blackcurrants on the nose, subdued but distinct. Restrained entry, dry tannins showing strongly, subdued mid-palate fruit. Big and mouthfilling presence. Hot aftertaste, preceding a big dry-blackcurrant finish of good length. Restrained - perhaps a little closed - but with lots of potential. 90/100.

Very dark. Dull nose. Big in the mouth with quite sharp citrus flavours in the entry. A tannic monster that is still asleep.

This was the "biggest" wine on the table by quite a stretch.
