Quite unusual...
Pleasing mid-red colour - on looks you'd say old enough to drink but plenty further to go.
nice cloves and spice on the nose (which is subtle rather than huge), good spiciness remains early palate but really ripe melon and tropical fruit flavours then predominate before a beautiful ainseed-laden finish takes over. Taken together it was a flavour profile that was quite unlike anything else i can remember drinking, and it will be interesting to see where this ends up in 5-10 years.
A great purchase for £25, ***+

I hope that wasn't a bottle you were planning on using in November

Just testing the provenance of the stash.
And I might find myself testing the provenance again before Nov 17
