A recent re-release from what I can gather. From a half bottle and popped and poured. Fully resolved tawny colour. A slightly volatile nose of walnuts and brown spice. Reminded me of a Seppelt Para Liqueur Fortified. A long palate of nuts and spice with chocolate becoming dominant after an hour. Not supremely complex but elegance was apparent. An excellent wine and a great example of how an unfiltered LBV can age with grace.
