# 3 of the night
dark ruby with a slight bricking around the edges
the nose on this was fantastic.
loads of freshly ground allspice and orange zest backed by some cherries.
one of the fullest bodies in the bunch with some thick dark chocolate on the palate mixed with a touch of ginseng root
followed with a woody cedar finish.

My first non-corked bottle of Dow 77! What a strange personal accomplishment! This had a lot in common with the Warres, both solid, well made, and fully mature vintage ports. Both faded with time, and should be consumed in the next 5-7 years.

Dark in color, with black pepper and black cherry on the nose (which got "stinkier" with time). It's full of blackberry and cherry in the mouth. Y says its nose is chocolate, with fruit (fresh red grape). Actually a decent bottle of D77. This was WoTN for a while.
