bottle still had hints of purple turning red with a pinkish /brown tint around the rim.
absoltuely lovely nose of candied cherries, plums, crushed lavender and all spice.
a tannicy medium body that comes rushing in with loads of primal red fruit. I get even more spiced plums, but the tannins come back around and sneak up on you.
It's got a great fruity coffee finish that lingers around for 40-50 seconds.
This was a fantastic specimen of a vesuvio.
