GC91. 90% opaque. Bitterness on entry, sweetness mid-palate, rather simple.

Like this TN.

dark red, a bit closed nose, red berries, restrained; good structure, good length and balance; very nice wine

Deep red in colour, 99% opaque. Lively white pepper on the nose, with lots of nettles and herbaceousness; attractive. Medium bodied, full and rich in flavour with lots of sweet black cherry. Big flavours on the palate, great balance. Deep and rich finish, very powerful and full of the concentrated black cherry seen on the palate with a good dose of dark chocolate. Very impressive; a great balance between youth and delicious drinking. 92/100.

My note begins "the first time I have tasted tannin tonight!"

Very good wine - a very decent 1991.
