Mz85. Dark red, 70% opaque. Restaurant nosing of pepper and cooked fat, so nose not noted. In comparison to the 67s and 77s, rough, early palate not liked at all. Very sweet though.

Perhaps suffered in the company of the others - a bit young and brash by comparison to the fine mature bottles around it but bags of ainseed and good lip-smacking chewiness - i seemed more positive on this one than others. Would be perfectly acceptable if served on its own! Seems to be a consistent bottle. *** (88)

Nice drinking Port which was sadly overshadowed in this company.
