2004 Berry's Crusted Port

Postby AHB » 23:06 Fri 09 Dec 2011

Sourced from Dow. Pale red in colour, 30% opaque and with a surprising amount of sediment floating in the glass. Youthful fruit, but softened by a little age on the nose. Slightly aggressive entry, with a touch of harsh acidity and light fruit. Strawberries on the finish. An early drinking wine. 84/100.

Not as enjoyable as the 2002 Crusted, which was my first regular "everyday" drinker. ** (85)
