Mid red, 50% opaque. Very lively nose, full of redcurrants and rosehips. Sweet fruit and gentle tannins fight for initial supremacy with the tannins eventually winning. Very lively and peppery on the late palate but with masses of fruit. Spicy aftertaste and a long, big, tingling finish. This is impressive - less ready to drink than the Gould Campbell. 86/100. Drunk 1 December 2011.
