Bottled by Justerini & Brooks, with no branding visible on the cork. From research carried out by DRT and JDAW, this is believed to be Warre.

Golden edged, red centre, perhaps 30% opaque. Damp soil on the nose, violets and over-ripened raisins. Sweet entry, balanced, with an intense fruit concentration and a distinct tone of coffee. Fantastic elegance, and a dry tobacco finish. A stunning wine. 99/100 and my wine of the night.

Old nose - lots of red fruits with a very long and delicious finish.

Thanks to AHB for allowing me to adopt.
