Bottled 1978. Mid-brown colour, with a tinge of green on the rim. Toffee nose, with lots of fruit. Balanced entry and a modest mid-palate with a mixture of burnt toffee and oranges. Thin texture, but big flavours. Huge burst of orange aftertaste and then a long length. Impressive. 90/100.

Bottled 1978. Good brown colour in the middle but fading towards the edge. Slightly watery and astringent in the mouth, and I found it hard to get over the initial acidity but this was followed by a very good, very long aftertaste which reminded me more of very old colheitas.

Soft, sweet nose - slight sourness on the palate and a rather short finish.
