As my last Vintage Port of the year I chose one of the very last VPs of my birth year that I havent tasted jet. After opening the port showed some decent walnut aromas and a good complexity, but as well some bottle stink.

As the bottle stink went away so did the concentration. Too light for a Vintage Port from this year, but very pleasant to drink, mostly nutty and almond aromas in the nose and the palate. I asked the Falcao Carneiros already if this port spent more than the usual 2-3 years in the vat, but the answer is outstanding. 17
