T77: decanted 10:00. Glorious red hue, but only 40% opaque. Another excellent port, but definitely junior to its stable-mate. Entry rougher than the F77, more heat, but the flavour was longer.

Decant @10.30, cork dropped!

Pleasing mid-red, with big red licquourice and pleasing heat and good complexity at finish. very good port, ready now - my guess is that this is in its peak 5-10 yr drinking window (having said that, it will bring joy for many years i am sure!). Yum. ***** (92-93)

Modest, mature red, 50% opaque. Delicious nose, sweet redcurrant and cloves on the nose - full of scent. Sweet and modestly fruity entry with a slight pine woodiness. Delightful development on the palate. Very elegant and refined but the gentle, dusty tannins never completely vanish. Slight heat on the aftertaste, followed by a dry and slightly bitter fruit finish. 91/100. 9.5 hour decant.
