Shared with KillerB last night.

This is from memory as I did not take a note at the time.

Quite muted on the nose, but some red fruits coming through, which KillerB thought was strawberry. Quite light and open on the palate with good levels of fruit and only light tannins. Perfectly good port for drinking immediately, which is what it is meant to be.

Although this is quite a light wine, I think this is what a mass-market reserve ruby should be. Many are released at an age and with a flavour profile that often makes me think they are not ready. This didn't do that, it is a true pop-n-pour, good quality Port that will not disappoint those who pluck the occasional bottle off the supermarket shelf at around £10.

Much improved from the old blend!
