Decanted for 30 minutes
Dark opaque red with just the slightest hint of bricking around the rim.
lovely nose of freshly plucked strawberries and baked plums with a black licorice component
Smooth but very noticeable tannins gives way to cherry, raspberry compote and finishing strong with vanilla, oak, more tannins and a lovely throat feel that remind me of some of the finer whiskeys i've had.
impressive but very young
