A bottle bought from and consumed in El Vino, Fleet Street. Firm red colour with a light rim; 80% opaque. Lovely nose, very attractive - red fruit laced with cedar resin. Sweet impact, full of sweet fruit with fabulous concentration. A touch of cedar on the flavour profile. Fantastic flavour development with so much complexity, dominated by the sweet and elegant fruit but with tannins still noticeable but in perfect harmony. Sumptuous aftertaste and a long, long intense finish. This is just fabulous port - port which is rarely bettered. 96/100. Drunk 14 Feb 2012 after 5 hours decant.

50% opaque - some cedar wood on the nose. Big and full in the mouth very tannic and tight entry, then lots of spicy fruit, liquorice and an immense finish. Excellent Port.

F77: dark red, 60% opaque. Very very smooth, less full-bodied than expected, perhaps even light. Heat mid-palate. Plums throughout.
