About 30% opaque, pale red with only small hint of orange at rim.
Very interesting and complex flavour; a slightly less full but finer flavour than other Warre vintages, very complex and long; at D+0h there was a little astringency mid-palate, fading to a long clear blackberry note to finish. At D+24h the astringency had gone, but so had the blackberry finish; now tasting as an excellent older port, warm, medium full, delicious slightly thicker texture, complex flavour including notes which made me wonder if there was anything special aboutb the barrels that year (underlying hints of colheita-like notes) and long finish. Overall extremely good, perhaps fading slightly, probably at end of it's peak, drink now.
