British Shippers’ Association 1983, a port not worth of H. M. The Queen in whose honour it was made.

Dare dark red, 60% opaque. Smell was awful. I got some TCA in there; others thought the problem was something else. Move on.

That’s a shame; the last time someone brought this to a tasting it was rather nice (which I gather is quite unusual for these sorts of blends).

A blend made from the ports declared by the members of the British Port Shippers Association to commemorate the visit to Oporto of Queen Elizabeth II.

Sadly, this was spoiled and dominated both on the nose and palate by strong VA. Not rated.

2012 Vintage Port of the year - 1927 Graham and 1922 Warre
