Mundy’s Investiture Port (BMHR), bottled to commemorate the investiture of the Prince of Wales at Caernafon Castle on 1 July 1969. Not blind.

Junior to the other bottle of the same. Mid-red, 50% opaque. This was a little rough, but good red fruit throughout. The ending was light.

Mature red, 50% opaque. Modest nose, showing a touch of heat. Soft and silky entry, light bodied with plenty of soft cranberry and with very firm tannins. Heat on the aftertaste, heat which lasts a long time, but which leads to a long and dry finish. Tasty and enjoyable. 85/100.
