G80: 60% opaque, dark dark red. Nose of blackcurrants, ‟actually, Ribena” I wrote. Taste had full sweetness, then a brief flash of heat before the sweetness resumed. Dark fruit. A hint lighter than perfect, but still a very long sweetness and a really good VP.

Deep red, but showing some early maturity; 80% opaque. Open and inviting on the nose, masses of cinammon and pine needles. Silky, beautiful texture. Light bodied, with dry and chalky tannins. Ripe and fragrant on the palate, in an early phase of maturity, with lots of plums and dark cherry. Dry n the finish, still softly tannic, with a red jelly and sticky lychee finish. Very tasty, but still quite youthful. 91/100. 12 hour decant.
