T85, served blind. Bright red, 45% opaque. Nose had liquorice, lots of sweetness, and maybe raspberry. Mid weigh, very long, slightly cloying, with milk chocolate, especially mid- to late-palate. Again, a very good VP.

A bottle purchased from Tesco. Mid red, firm coloured rim; 60% opaque. Lively and spicy nose, youthful junipers and raspberries. Gentle entry, bringing restrained fruit with an elegant balance and soft acidity. Tannins are dry and gentle. Plenty of fruit on the palate, which is medium bodied and elegantly floral. Big on the finish, with a long, long aftertaste that is dominated by chocolate and licorice. 92/100. 24 hour decant.
