Color: medium to light red.

Nose: very floral and sweet cherries. Borderline cough syrup. Ruth says violets. I'm not sure, but since I probably wouldn't recognize violets anyway I'll accept her judgement.

Palate: disappointing based on reputation - it's awfully plain and simple for such a notable Port. Sweet entry with not much behind it. Medium full body. Where are the fruits? Where are the tannins?

Score: 88 points. A very good Port if judge objectively, but a disappointment for a T63. Perhaps my expectations were too high?
