Pronounced flavors and aromas of plum, milk chocolate, almonds, stewed raspberries, (and also cranberry when I revisited this wine).

Color: medium red, almost what you might call light red.

Nose: violets and sweet cherries. borderline cough syrup.

Palate: rather plain and simple, but tasty. Very sweet bordering on cloying, but not quite. Medium full body.

Score: 89 points. A very good Port, but not something I'd seek out to purchase without some other reason like a birthday or anniversary.
