Color: red, though seems awfully light for what's normally described as an epic Port.

Nose: sweet cherries, lots of violets, and some heat.

Palate: sweet entry but then enough tang to give it some depth. Medium body, but that helps prevent the sweetness from getting cloying. Decent tannins, but not as many as I'd normally expect in a T66 based on its reputation.

Score: 92 points. An early favorite, but easily beaten out by later Ports in this lineup. A solid score, too, but not as good as I was expecting based on its reputation.
