Dusty nose when first opened i thoguht it was flawed so didn't drink any more so the decanter got sealed for the next day.

The dustiness blew off after 30 more minutes in air.

Sour cherry liquor on the nose with something more vibrant reminds me muhc like a red currant with a hint of cinnamon spices.

Coating but thinning body that over powers iwth spirits and black licorice with a strange after taste of mud followed very quickly by a strong spirit burn you find in some cheap irish whiskey. There's a lingering bitter licorice taste that stays in the mouth.

I'm hoping it's the bottle or lack of air time.

80-83.
