1991 Morgan vintage port

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Deep magenta in colour. Spicy and lively on the nose, smelling quite sharp. Silky entry, with violets in the first impression. Lots of soft blackcurrant and gentle tannins with a good, acidic backbone. A bit watery in taxture in the mid-palate. Delicious aftertaste and finish, long and full of dry blackcurrants. 87/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
