Pick this up at Costco today for $21. The color is a dark red with some faint orange in it. A simple nose of carmel and nuts. The palate has some simple dried fruit and a light dose of spices. There still are some very noticable tannins in this young tawny. Unfortunately, it is quite simple on the palate. The finish is just a tad more than short, but not really meduim either (short/medium?). Overall, this is a very easy drinking 10 year tawny with no major faults, other than being on the simple side, and offers a decent QPR. This would be a good introduction for someone who has not had a lot of experience with Port.

85 points.
