Deep red, richly coloured and 99% opaque. Full aroma, youthful and spicy - really attractive. Rich and full-bodied on the palate; still gently tannic but massively fruity. A touch hot on the aftertaste, but lovely flavours through the wonderful finish of blackcurrant and cocoa nibs. This is a big port that needs another 20 years to hit its plateau. Terrific bottle. 92/100. 14½ hour decant.

T70, brought by RAYC. Decant time not noted. Colour a glorious red, 60% opaque. Big taste, lovely. Tannin present throughout. Plum, perhaps, but mostly an unspecified red-purple fruit. Easily my WOTN.
