Deep brown centre, amber on the rim. Limited showing on the nose, savoury tones of tomato and cooked onion rather than sweet fruit. Coffee on the entry, with a sharp acidity delivering a good focus; fresh on the palate, but a little light and lacking body. Sharp aftertaste, heat at the start of the finish. A decent port, but difficult to imagine drinking more than one glass of this. 87/100. 15-Jun-12. 3 hours decant.
