F66: dark red, 50% opaque. For some reason I repeated the colour in the nose column, but the taste had heat, and again, dark plum-like fruit. Lighter than the 1963, and with cherries. JDAW.

Deep red core, bricking on the rim; 90% opaque. Open and mature nose, very full, very attractive. Lovely gentle entry with a spicy and lively fruit core and a big palate presence. Huge finish, very concentrated and very long. A fabulous port, at its prefect peak and will stay at that peak for decades. 95/100. 11-Jun-12. Decanted 3½ hours.
