T12: brought as unknown shipper. Again, 20YO tawny colour, 30% opaque. Stinky nose. Stink very strong in palate. JDAW.

Bottled by William Smith, Bishop's Stortford. Originally known to be 1912 vintage, but an unknown shipper. The cork revealed the shipper to be Taylor. Firm red-amber colour, 20% opaque. Bottle stink on the nose, smelling baked. Modest palate entry, very bitter and quite a light palate presence. Baked fruit on the aftertaste and finish. After an hour in the glass this developed a better concentration of flavour, but still with a disappointing bitterness and the baked tones becoming more pronounced. 88/100. 14-Jun-12. Pop 'n' pour.
