1952 Graham Single Harvest Tawny

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Deep brown, mahogany. Cut apples and VA on the nose. Gentle flavours caress the tongue. Lovely acidity - masses of honey and golden syrup but fabulous lemon juice acidity gives terrific balance. Very big flavours but a wonderful freshness to the wine. Delicious aftertaste and finish. Lovely port, mouthfilling and complex. 94/100. 11-Jun-12. Decanted 10 hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
