1992 Osborne vintage port

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Served at the Yeatman by the glass. Lovely ruby colour, deep and intense although softening on the rim. Baked fruit tones on the nose, pleasant and attractive with a good sweetness of fruit on the palate. Delicious soft fruit that is drinking well, with soft tannins and acidity. The long aftertaste is fruity and has a good duration. Very approachable now, but with plenty of time ahead of it. A straightforward and uncomplex port that gives pleasant drinking. 85/100. 13-Jun-12. Decanted ½ hour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
