2008 Niepoort Bioma

Fragrant and herbacious nose with mint, ainseed and lavender.
Grippy, concentrated port with huge finish. Action packed, but well balanced and with good complexity. Impressive, particularly considering this was an 08. I may even prefer it to the 09 Bioma. Surprisingly moreish - more than happy to drink this now!
Struggling to rate something this young, but ****(*?) (92-94?), but who knows where it will be in 30 years...
Top marks also to the capsule and cork - these bottles are designed to last in the cellar!
