1996 Vesuvio

Post by g-man »

Purple and primal in color

A violet nose that still shows hints of its youth. A touch of freshly ground allspice and baking spices mixes with evaporiating spirits that leaves an impression in the nasopharynx.

Medium to lighter mouthfeel of blackberries and a light blend of blueberries mixed with some stewed spiced plums. This finishes slightly bitter showing off its time in oak remind me of an extra bitter dark chocolate.

89-91.
