Deep red / orange in colour, with an orange rim; 40% opaque. Beautiful orange mandarin on the nose. Lovely texture on the palate, mid-weight. Generous mid-palate fruit over a gentle pepperiness. Some heat on the aftertaste from the acidity. Big aftertaste, full of sugary fruit; with a delicious and lingering finish. Very fine port. 92/100. Decanted 6 hours
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

F60, decanted 13:00. Brick red, 40% opaque. Nose had mocha. The mocha bitterness that started early palate became, by the mid-palate, a sensation of dryness. Lacking sugar. DRT rightly observed dried fruits. By late evening was rather dried out.

Drink up.
