RO58. Pink, 20% opaque. Nose fait cherry, sweet, delicate, and good. A hint dusty. Taste of delicate soft sweetness, then heat mid- to late-palate. Very long. ‟Perfect AHB Port”, I wrote. Good port, far exceeding reputation of house and year.

Brownish red colour, dusty nose with slight alcoholic harshness showing through.

Really tasty to drink - some heat, but pleasant and provides nice bite to accompany the cherry and red liquorice flavours. Delicate, and slightly simple, finish - but sweetness and Taylor-type bite makes this really rather moreish. *** (89).

Deep burnt orange colour, with a pale orange rim. Plastic oranges on the nose. Blanced entry, with concentrated dusty orange on the attack, the sweetness comes through on the mid-palate. Pleasant, floral aftertaste and a big finish, that is long and lingering. Delicious mature port. 89/100.
