DB79, brought by Alex. Lovely red, 40% opaque. Nose wrong. Taste started sweet, rich with red fruit. Then the wet dog.

Why do so many corked wines have a great colour?

Deep red, 50% opque. Badly corked. Not tasted. Not rated.

It does seem that TCA tainted wines are often a deeper and richer red than their untainted counterparts.
