Ck63, decanted 9am that day. Red-brown, 20% opaque. Nose had some sweetness and mature spirit. Heat, very strong, from mid- to late-palate. Mature, good port, sweet, still robust. Perfect AHB port.

Served blind, guesses being Mz67 (JDAW); T60 (AHB); Mz63 (DRT). Once again DRT scored 100% of the blind-guessing points.

Burnt orange in colour, well into a mature appearance; 20% opaque. Lovely ripe, black cherries on the nose, intense and concentrated with a lovely meat juice tone - delightfully complex. Modest body, with a slow developing flavour profile, lots of interwoven layers but showing little fruit, rather sweet clover honey and bitters to give balance. A big flare of heat on the aftertaste and then a lovely long finish, sweet and well balanced with a great length. Served blind this was guessed to be Taylor 1960. 89/100.
