GB55. Brown, 30% opaque. Nose had heat and brown sugar. Taste unctuous. Acrid mid-palate. Some heat. Fully mature; devoid of fruit.

Deep burnt orange, 25% opaque and with a pale rim. Modest nose, a touch of VA, slightly dirty fruit. Thick in texture, with late developing but generous levels of fruit. Deliciously mature on the palate. There is a slight dryness on the mid-palate but plenty of late fruit. Long and fabulous finish. Very good port - mature and perfect for current drinking. Served blind, this was guessed to be Taylor 1960. 91/100. Decanted 4½ hours.
