W60, decanted 14:45. Red-brown, 30% opaque. Nose had some spirit, and no fruit. Taste clean, thick, and fully mature. Absence of fruit suggested over-mature. But a delicious mature phase. RLC said ‟burnt raisin”.

Mature, burnt orange colour with a pale rim - 20% opaque. Lovely toffee apple nose, with a hint of VA but very attractive. Delicious on the palate, sweet and with some thickness. Leather and dried meat dominate over a rose hip syrup. Delicious aftertaste of burnt raisins and a terrific length. Very enjoyable port. Served blind, this was guessed to be Taylor 1960. 92/100. Decanted 4½ hours.
