D80 magnum, though served blind, twice, as both ‟Risqué Right” and ‟Ebullient Left” and as ‟#7” and ‟#12”.

Risqué Right, #7: Dark red, 80% opaque. Heat. A bit rough. Rich prune fruit. Not as heavy as colour.

Ebullient Left, #12: Dark mature red, 90% opaque. Nose of prune fruit. Taste medium-light. Prunes. Heat. Young. Later I found lavender.

From magnum. Deep red and opaque. Solid rim. Musty nose - perhaps a slight tone of TCA, but a swirl disapates the TCA so it must be something else, a dirty glass perhaps. Great palate presence and impact, a huge port on the palate. Fruity, with soft tannins and super balance. Long, long coffee and sweet gingerbread finish. Very good port. 92/100. Drunk 15-Feb-13. Decanted 3 hours.
