Mature golden red colour. Nose is very spirity with some fruit struggling to break through. Light to medium weight. Hot in the mid palate but has lovely sweetness of dried fruits with menthol in the finish. Overall impression at this point is that a few hours in the decanter should allow the heat to blow off and this will be a nice mature daily drinking Port.

A slight medicinal stink on the nose. Same weight as when first opened but the heat has gone so more sweetness and fruit coming through on the palate. Simple but inoffensive and a very pleasant glass of mature VP to have with the fillet steak I am about to cook :D

I am pleased to be the owner of another eleven half bottles of this.
