W22: red-pink, 30% opaque. Nose had spice and raspberry, and there might have been smoke in addition to that coming from the fireplace. To taste big soft red fruit. Heat mid-palate. Great length. Very fine mid-weight Vintage Port - JDAW, Jan 2013
Mature orange / red; slightly cloudy, 30% opaque. Hugely dusty nose with lots of green tea and herbaceous scents. Sweet entry, rich and unctuous. Full of fruit - simply a fabulous palate. Sweet dates, lots of fruit and delicious floral tones. Huge, fruit driven aftertaste and thena long fruit and milk chocolate finish. A stunning port. 97/100
