1983 Dow

Decanted 6 hours. Reasonably opaque in the decanter. Good and hot. The flavor was pleasant, but seemingly lacking in complexity. It got sort of syrupy after about D+12, and was less syrupy but not better the next day. There were no unpleasant smells and nothing apparantly wrong with the bottle, but overall seemed unimpressive. Maybe a bad bottle?
