Dalva 1971 Golden White, bottled 2012: pale tawny, 15% opaque. Nose had a very slight stink. Taste light and delicate. Great balance. Gentle marmalade made with apricots? Turkish delight, and roses. Delicious, but too delicate for my brutish palate. JDAW, January 2013

Shown at the Dalva wine bar in Vila Nova de Gaia. Bottled 2012. Very pale in colour, barely light straw. Light on the nose, delicate and fragrant. Light bodied with a delicate entry, very slow to develop on the palate but eventually shows some light brown sugar and icing sugar (JDAW accurately described as Turkish Delight - the kind dipped in icing sugar). A long finish of brown sugar lumps. A very delicate but flavoursome wine. 91/100.
