Half bottle; bottled in 2009. Deep red, opaque. Pleasant and attractive on the nose, full of sour cherry and a touch of tobacco. Nice balance on the palate, a touch light but with a good mix of fruit, soft acidity and surprising tannins. Mouthfilling. A bit of heat on the aftertaste, but this is followed by a big and satisfying finish, full of dry cocoa tannins and bitter black cherry fruit. Very pleasant. 87/100. Drunk 05-Feb-13. Decanted 48 hours.
